We are currently in North Carolina, in a little thousand trails park called Green Mountain. It’s a cool park that has a lot of trees, and a little stream going through out the park. I am having fun. Mom was sick the first few days of the first week, but while Mom was sick I was out making new friends, having the time of my life. And enjoying being around kids my age. Most of my friends live in this park, so when we are on our way back down I can see them again. I played basketball with them, and rode my bike with them. It is summer vacation so when I was done with my little school work I can play with them. The second week we went on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Its 469 miles long, and we only drove 65 of that 469 miles. We stopped at some overlooks that gave some of the best views that you would ever see just driving on a normal road. We also went to some water falls that you had to walk trails to before you saw the water fall. The trail was a little difficult for Mom but she got through, and we did too. It was worth it at the end of the trail to see the water fall. The third week we just stayed home and I went bike riding every day I could, playing and spending every moment with my friends before it is time to leave this park. We got into a water balloon fight, and I had not been in one for a long time so I enjoyed every minute of it. But all my friends didn’t bother to clean the mess up, and there was a lot of balloons thrown, so I cleaned it all up. We also went to some crafts, and activities. My time spent in this park will be a great memory to me, and I am thankful you are reading my blog. See you next time.
