Hey everyone, thanks for reading my blog. I’ve been enjoying myself with my family. We are currently in a shady spot in a park called Carolina Landing. But before I get into describing this park, I want to tell you about the park before this one. It was called Hidden Cove in Alabama. It was a small park with 60 spots, but we fitted in perfectly. Nice people; the weather was rainy and sunny throughout the two weeks we were there. We parked under a big tree that gave big shade. There were mostly, uh what’s it called, ahh!!! Weekenders, so it was busy on the weekends. I went fishing a couple of times, caught nothin’ though. Got a few bites, but the view was nice. Man, when a boat passed by the floating dock that I was on, it would go up and down when the waves came. There was a kid named Isaac 16, he was good at exercise. Could do pull ups, while I can only do one (But I’m still strong). I say I’m fit, but my Dad proves me wrong when after 4 laps of running I am tired already. When it rained, the outside of my tent got soaked but the inside was very dry. It’s like us sometimes, we might judge people on the outside but the inside is what counts, on any person. I flew my 3-D kite, it was flying as far as it can go. I really like when I go bare foot, the grass brushing in between my toes, the wind blowing on me, sunny skies; and God said “It is good”. Well we then drove many hours in the truck on our way to Carolina Landing. On the way we stopped at a rest stop in Georgia and I got a map of Georgia. My plan is to get a map of each state and cut them out and put them on a wall when we move into a house. We ate lunch on one of the picnic tables and when we headed back to the truck, I saw an military vehicle. I just had to take a picture. When I grow up I’m planning on going into the Marines. I have to learn a lot. You have to earn the name, not just do nothing. It’s not easy either. From the stories from my Pastor at the Manteca Church in CA, it’s very hard but if he can earn it I can too.
Well we made it safely at Carolina Landing, and Mom met our next door neighbor. So while we worked Mom was talking to him. He was in his 70s, and had a great, great, great, (etc.) grandfather that was on the Mayflower. Our neighbor was in the army, he fought in Vietnam and he is a good natured gentlemen. So, while we were working he gave us brownies for later, he was just kind. Well, we are having a good time, had a difficult time on our school work. But we just went swimming today, and spent time with each other. Yeah, sometimes we are so close all the time we get grumpy, but in the end its just about God, family and friends (that’s what I think). When you get the chance to travel, take it while you are still in this world. Thanks for reading my blog.
