September 21-27

We are still in Wilderness lakes that is in Menifee. This week has been really fun for me and my whole family. After my devotional Mom and Dad sat us down at the table that was outside of our fifth wheel and told us that we were going to spend the next five days at LEGOLAND. I cannot express my delight that was inside of me. We only went three times because one day Mom was sick and we had covered the whole park in three days. We could also trade in Lego people.  So on Thursday we did our normal routine and then got all of our stuff ready for Legoland. It was a 1 hour drive from Wilderness Lakes to LEGOLAND. When we arrived at the ticket gate the first song that came to my ears was the song from the Lego movie, it is called “Everything Is Awesome”. We showed our tickets and then got maps of the whole park; it was big and I thought it would not take three days to look at everything. The first ride we rode was the fairy tale brook. It had Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs and other stuff. It was cool to watch the Lego built figures move. We walked thru the Lego Heart lake city and we wanted to go on the Sky Cruiser but it was closed. So we walked over to fun town, and the ride we rode in fun town was called “Driving School”. I liked that ride. It was fun; it had stop lights and stop signs. Then I went into the Lego Club house, I traded there with my own people. We moved on to the tiny tour of the Lego factory. That was the best part, seeing the pieces being made. I could have stood there for hours and watched the Legos being made. They had minifigure scale RV’s on the shelf, and a model of the Lego factory. When we finished, the next thing we did was go to the “Adventures’ Club”. That was cool seeing all the Lego built Egyptian stuff and other Lego buildings. After that I went on the “Captain Cranky’s Challenge”. It was not scary, I did not like the ride very much. Then we ate lunch on a table. But….the best place in the whole park….is…THE MINILAND USA!!!! It had  Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, Southern California, San Francisco, Ferndale, Block of fame and Washington DC. NO WAIT THERES MORE!!! In the Star Wars area there is Lego Star Wars Gallery, Episode I: Naboo, Episode II: Geonosiss, Episode III Kashyyk and Mustafar, Episode IV: Tatooine, Episode V: Hoth, Episode Vi: Endor and there’s a lot more. After 2 hours of looking at that we went home. The best thing I liked was the Miniland USA; the least favorite was the Captain Cranky’s Challenge. We went home and ate dinner and then went to bed. On Saturday we wore our swim suits and brought fresh clothes. The reason why we were wearing swim suits is because we were going to play in the water park (in LegoLand) after we toured in the aquarium. We arrived at Legoland and then went into the aquarium which was next to LegoLand. We got a scavenger hunt paper that had questions that we would have to answer through the Museum. I saw sharks. Did you know that sharks can turn off parts of their brain. I saw seahorses, rays, and queensland grouper, jelly fish, yellow tang, bat fish, star fish and many more fish. Did you know seahorses do not have any teeth? I also got to pet some star fish in the petting area. At the end of my quiz I got 9 out of 10 correct. I turned it in at the gift shop, at the end of the Aquarium and I got a prize. It was a paper hat that had a scuba diver Lego person printed on it. We then entered LegoLand and went all the way to the water park. Mom and Dad enjoyed watching us play. We three kids went on water slides. There was this ride where you go down really fast into the water and you get soaking wet. There was the Chima water park, but the only thing I liked about it was the pool that had waves, but more people came in and the waves died down. Then it was time to leave before traffic got bad on the freeway. The best thing I liked about the aquarium was the Octopus and the sharks and the Lego models throughout the aquarium. The only thing I liked about the water park was the big slide and the pool that had waves. On Sunday we went to LEGOLAND and we mostly had everything covered except a couple of things. We went on the Coast cruise. It was fun, I liked the Lego bridges that I saw on the ride. We then went to the Lego show place. We watched a short tour of Lego Chima in 4-D. It was a cool pop out movie with feeling to it. I traded a Lego person for a pie guy. Then the next thing I did was the Lego Technic Coaster. That was the scariest ride of them all in Legoland. After that we ate lunch in Castle hill. After a filling lunch I went on “The Dragon”. It was not scary at all, it was refreshing wind. After that ride I went on the “Pharaoh’s Revenge”. It’s like Buzz Light Year in Disneyland where you shoot the targets with the lasers. Then that was pretty much it. The last thing we did was look in the big shop that was near the entrance. I bought a water bottle for a souvenir. I liked looking at all the Lego sets, big and small. But the greatest of them all was the coffee shop and a home put together in a big Lego set. We then left Legoland and went home. Out of all the rides and places we have been to in these three days were, the Miniland and the “Lego Technic Coaster”. Those were the two favorite things in Legoland. But the thing I liked doing along was trading my Lego people for other cool people. But I felt like there was something missing in Legoland. Yes, the sculptures were good, but still there was something missing. Well I know what Legoland looks like, and when someone ask me if I have been to LEGOLAND I will say yes. But on Sunday we saw the Eclipse at night. It was white at first then red, it was cool. We watched it with our friends that were at the park. These are the three pictures I picked for the blog out of a hundred.

The top is a bear leaning against some porta potties. The middle is the sky scrapers in the miniland. And the bottom is Cinderella that was from the Fairytale Brook I think. This is a lot for my blog.

September 28-October 4

The first few days of this week were our normal routine; we got up, wrote in our journals, ate breakfast, did our school work and played. I hate laundry days, because we have to carry the heavy bags full of clothes all the way to the laundry room, which is in the park. When they finish, we walk them all the way back to our trailer. But, on Friday night my friend’s family came over to watch National Treasures with us,on a TV we can hook up outside. On Saturday when I was riding my bike, I fell and I cut open my knee and skin came off on the other. I came back to the fifth wheel and took care of my leg. It hurt when I put pressure on it. So I have to take it easy for the next week or so. On Sunday we had some rain, which was good. We drank hot chocolate in the morning, and we stayed home from church because Veronica was sick. But we got to play board games and colored. That was a fun Sunday.

Well, I’ll write some more soon! I hope you’re enjoying my blogs.
